As we wait patiently for the summer to pass and the swell to begin filling back in with Hurricane season, California's southern beaches are bombarded with surfers and south swells.

Swooping through a section, a very common site at Lowers.

   An even more common site at Lowers. One good wave by yourself out here and it's worth it though.

9/29/2010 Thinking about hurricane season.

Only one year and six days after Hurricane Bill sent some of the best surf our way, Hurricane Danielle graced our shores.  A typical over hyped swell only to wait for the inevitable let down.  Here are a few shining moments from one hurricane that was soon forgotten.
